Principal's Message

As Principal of Oakley Elementary, I would like to welcome you to our website.   This website has been prepared in hope that it will become a valuable resource for you and provide you with school news and information.  This website has been designed to enable you to become familiar with our school, staff, policies, and other procedures. 

Here at Oakley Elementary, students are provided with the excitement and encouragement to be lifelong learners in a safe and welcoming learning environment. The development of life skills such as responsibility, respect, safety and kindness are instilled into daily duties. The whole child approach to learning is fostered in our monthly core values:

Our staff set high academic expectations for all students.  Oakley Elementary, with the support of our Santa Maria Bonita School District and our community have a common goal to “prepare children to be successful college and career ready citizens” through effective Tier 1 practices, a culture of learning with high expectations, challenging content and student ownership. Our vision for student success is our commitment to provide the best educational path possible for all students.
